KTM 1290 SuperDuke R V1.0 vs. V2.0 Acceleration Test

The KTM SuperDuke is one of the most brutal naked bikes out of the market and it is mainly the myth of the beast that was built successfully by the marketing of KTM. The two cylinder with around 1,300ccm already delivers extreme pressure from the lower revs and the performance of the SuperDuke is, for many, the fascination of this motorcycle.

In the year 2017 came the new version of the KTM 1290 Superduke, “Beast 2.0” – More power and some other revisions should have improved the radical NakedBike drastically. It is clear that the question is about is worth to upgrade from the “old” 1290 Duke version to the beast 2.0.

The guy of Kurveradius TV is currently driving even the latest model version of the SuperDuke R and compared this in an acceleration duel with the old version. What the result of the acceleration test between the KTM1290 Super Duke R Old version vs. KTM1290 Super Duke R New Version is, you can see in this video! Some nice footage of the SuperDuke on the German Autobahn 🙂
